UART to Half Duplex TTL / RS485 Converter (IR-UART01)

UART to Half Duplex TTL / RS485 Converter (IR-UART01)

Regular price $12.50 $0.00

Introduction

The IR-UART01 is a UART to Half Duplex TTL (or RS485) converter that can control the mightyZAP Actuator through Half Duplex TTL or RS-485 communication using UART signals in an embedded (user board) environment.

DC 3.3V for communication and motor input power must be applied separately through the power terminal according to the input voltage of the purchased mightyZAP linear servo actuator.

You can perform various parameter settings and operation tests through command packet transmission according to the actuator user manual.

Composition

  • IR-UART01 : 1pc

Features

  • UART to Half Duplex TTL (or RS485) converter that supports signal conversion between all user boards that support the UART environment (including Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Latte Panda, etc.) and actuators.

⚠ CAUTION

※ When connecting the power, pay special attention to the polarity of the power. (Refer to the back of the PCB) It may cause product failure.

※ Please apply a voltage that matches the rated voltage (7.4V, 12V, 24V) of the actuator series you purchased. Otherwise, it may cause damage to the actuator.

※ Be careful of accidental short circuits due to contact with other conductors as IR-UART01 has a structure where the PCB pattern and elements are exposed to the outside.

※ When connecting multiple actuators using the serial daisy chain connection method, do not exceed the board’s allowable current of 3A. If the allowable current exceeds 3A,  supply the power to the actuators directly through a separate external power supply.
